On Thursday night I watched the new movie, "Fireproof" at a local theatre. Starring Kirk Cameron, (Mike Seaver from "Growing Pains"), this movie is both amazing and heartwarming affirming the covenant of marriage and what it takes for two people to do marriage God's way.
Although I am not married now, I urge everyone to take the time with your spouse to see this movie. It is an incredible display of perseverence, and unconditional love. I have been encouraged as a single person and without giving too much away I left the theatre with these thoughts.
1) You never leave your partner. Especially in a fire.
2) How do you love someone who constantly rejects you? (well, Jesus did) and ...
3) Unconditional love unspoken but demonstrated in action leaves the indelible mark of a heart solely trusting in God.
You will cry and smile and finally rejoice when God gets the victory. Enjoy!
